November 7, 2026. The Tampa Bay Lightning erased a two-goal third-period deficit to upset the Minnesota Wild in overtime, led by Jake Guentzel and Nikita Kucherov. Martin Necas exploded for four points in Colorado's dominant shutout.
Nikita Kucherov ripped the game-winner past Marc-Andre Fleury in overtime, capping a furious Tampa Bay Lightning rally that saw them erase a two-goal third-period deficit to upset the Minnesota Wild 4-3. What looked like a comfortable Wild victory evaporated under sustained Lightning pressure, proving once again that in hockey, no lead is safe until the final horn.
